Aristotle Lekacos is currently a Professor, Director of Educational Technology at Stony Brook University in the College of Business and Director of the Information Systems Management certificate program at Stony Brook University in the School of Professional Development. He founded and managed for 20 plus years Trac Line Software a company that developed enterprise wide business systems for Retailers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers. He guided the firm into a Multinational Corporation expanding the scope and breath of the product line. During that period Mr. Lekacos also provided consulting services to many Fortune 100 corporations including IBM, JC Penny, AT&T, EDS, Sunbeam, Radio Shack, Honeywell, Hammacher Schlemmer and Xerox. Prior to founding Trac Line he worked at Grumman Aerospace Corporation in Advanced Systems and Business Proposals. He recently published a book titled “Communicating in a Digital World” which includes online multimedia content and is currently working on a number of other ‘ebooks’ and ‘eTexts’ related to business and digital communiqués.His current business venture is related to online software.

  Lester S. Garfinkel, a private investor, was an independent member of the Board of Directors of Tower Realty Trust (TOW: NYSE). He was asked by his fellow members of the Board of Directors to step in and oversee the operational, financial and administrative functions of this approximately $750 million publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).  Reporting directly and solely to the Board of Directors, he held the titles of Executive Vice President-Finance, Executive Vice President-Administration, Chief Financial Officer, and was Member of the Board of Directors.  As a member of the Board of Directors, he served on the Board’s Executive, Audit, Strategic Assessment, and Steering Committees.  He was responsible for negotiating the successful merger of the Company with another public REIT, working closely with the Company’s legal advisors and investment bankers, and members of the Board of Directors.  Prior to joining Tower Realty Trust, his background was as a partner in international certified public accounting firms.   He is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Connecticut and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he has served on technical and public relations committees, and the Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants. 
His diverse industry experience includes real estate, construction, telecommunications, manufacturing, international metals trading, investment companies, banking, law firms, high-tech, retail, textiles and apparel, newspapers and publishing, healthcare, printing and publishing, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, distribution, mail-order, oil companies, forensics, bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, and not-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Garfinkel serves as an Officer and Treasurer of the Harmonie Club of the City of New York, sitting on its Board of Governors, Executive, Finance, and Pension committees.  In addition, Mr. Garfinkel serves as the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of The Bernadotte Foundation for Children’s’ Eye Care, a non-profit organization established by Princess Bernadotte of Sweden, which is engaged in the promotion of advanced research and clinical study of eye diseases and defects in visual development found in children around the world. 
  Dr. Richard Laskowski spent 29 years at the Stony Brook University Athletics department before resuming his teaching career in the College of Business in 2004.  Before joining Stony Brook University, he spent 19 years at St. John’s, where his duties involved management, marketing, program development, finance, compliance, operations, arena management and fund-raising.  In 1994 Dr. Laskowski was recruited by Stony Brook University to assume the position of Dean of Physical Education and Athletics with the mission of transforming and leading the Athletics Department from Division III to Division I.  In addition to Athletics he was responsible for overseeing the Physical Education Department, the Intramurals, Club Sports, and Recreation Program, and Community Recreation. After 10 years as the Dean he stepped down to join the faculty in the College of Business.  He currently teaches the introductory course for all Business majors, “Business in the 21st Century”, as well as Sports Management and Sports Leadership
